"Blue Mountain Briar"

Blue Mountain Briar is registered Irish Draught Sport Horse foaled 6/1/03. Briar is a well balanced horse with 3 lovely gaits, including a huge overstep at the walk. Though 17 hands, he is compact and catlike on his feet, able to make the sharp turns and to shorten for tight distances in jumping. He does not rush or pull to or from his fences and jumps with a tight front end, using his topline well. He is quiet for his age, learns quickly, loves attention and has great ground manners. Briar is large boned with solid feet (no shoes required), is an easy keeper and has no vices or medical issues.

Briar is sired by Mountain Pearl, an RID currently standing stud in Ireland. More information on his sire can be found at solutionfactor.com. Briar is a good example of his sire's sweet temperament and jumping talent. He also inherited the stamina of his t-bred dam, making him an ideal prospect for an amateur or young rider to take up the levels in eventing.
